Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know Before Your Session

The Photoshoot

I typically take between 50 and 150 photos to vary angles, expressions, and poses. It’s normal to capture far more images than what is ultimately presented to the client.

No. You will receive only my curated selection of the best photos (typically 10 to 25 images), featuring the most successful, natural, and flattering shots. Blurry images, duplicates, closed eyes, or unflattering expressions are removed — this is a standard part of a professional photographer’s workflow.

Because not all photos are of sufficient quality or truly representative. My role is to present only the images that genuinely highlight you at your best. You won’t miss any good photos — I simply remove anything unusable or unflattering.

Because advanced retouching requires significantly more time and precision. In the industry, it is standard practice to apply in-depth retouching only to selected final images, rather than to 20 or 100 photos.

Yes. All selected images (10–25 photos) receive basic retouching, including:

  • color correction
  • exposure adjustment
  • contrast refinement
  • overall tone and mood enhancement
  • cropping and framing
  • consistent visual styling

This ensures you view clean, polished, and professionally presented images.

Advanced retouching is performed in Photoshop and may include:

  • skin smoothing
  • blemish removal
  • subtle body refinement
  • object removal
  • creative enhancements
  • etc.

These edits are applied only to the images you select, depending on your package (e.g. 1 to 3 photos).

No. I never deliver unedited photos. You receive only final images, professionally retouched and ready for use.

To achieve the best possible results, please arrive fully prepared:

  • Hair styled
  • Makeup applied (light or full, depending on your style)
  • Beard groomed / skin well moisturized
  • Clothing clean, pressed, and well-fitted
  • Hair removal/shaving (see next section)

Good preparation makes a significant difference in the final outcome.

Yes. Professional high-resolution cameras capture every small detail, including beard regrowth, under-chin hair, fine facial hair, and unmaintained eyebrows.

For a clean and professional result, I strongly recommend:

  • shaving or trimming your beard on the day of the session
  • removing or grooming visible areas (upper lip, chin, neck, eyebrows)
  • moisturizing the skin after shaving
